H582 Central Park is a hooked wool rug which has been adapted from an antique rug most likely made in New England. The design certainly has an Arts and Crafts flavor to it , which is not surprising as many of these hooked rugs were made in the early 20th Century a time when Arts and Crafts was very popular. The colors and design have been slightly modified from our antique rug, but are very close to the original rug. The name of the design comes from the general layout of Central Park in New York City – with all the buildings lined up around the borders
