Ararat is a handmade wool needlepoint pillow, 18"x28" in size. A classic design of rich navy blues, pale blues, burnt oranges, rusts, and neutral beige tones create a handsome effect. Exquisite detail. Looks great on leather.

The name Ararat comes from Mount Ararat which is a is a snow-capped and dormant compound volcano in the eastern extremity of Turkey, it is associated with the "mountains of Ararat" in Jewish and Christian traditions. It is where Noah's Ark is said to have come to rest according to the Book of Genesis.
