Moving to Western North Carolina from Philadelphia, PA gave me the freedom to get back to my creative self after 35 years in graphic design, and the last 24 as a corporate art director. My illustrations are created in a variety of ways. Sometimes I do a sketch, then scan it into my iMac computer, refine and color it using Adobe Illustrator software. My computer is just another drawing tool for me to explore with. Other times I love taking out the my acrylic paints or colored inks and getting my hands dirty. Both ways are fun for me and create different styles.
